Marlon started to surf on the south coast of the Algarve, Portugal when he was 8. It didn’t take long before he entered his first contests. He is 7 times German Champion, won the European Pro Junior Title in 2004, and the same year he finished 3rd at the Billabong World Champs in Australia, the most prestigious junior event in the world! In the end of 2009, Marlon made his dream come true by qualifying for the WCT. When not competing, Marlon travels the world in search of perfect waves, shoot photos and films for his sponsors.
